 Job Summary

Due to recent expansion of our operations at Coffs Harbour Airport, we are recruiting for Casual and Permanant Part-Time Ramp Agents. 

 

The core purpose of the Ramp/Baggage handler is to Marshal aircraft safely on to the parking bay. Position all GSE (Ground Services Equipment) and to safely marshal passengers to the terminal. Loading and unloading baggage and freight is also an important part of this position. You may also be called upon to clean the cabin of the aircraft. Once that is complete, you will be required to dispatch the aircraft. Other duties may include consigning freight and making sure the baggage make-up area is clean and ready for the next flight.  Full training for this position will be provided.

 What we will need from you:

 

  • Fluent in spoken English
  • Well Presented, Reliable, Super-efficient.
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Ability to work early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Current State Drivers Licence 
  • Physically fit.  Ability to lift up to 32kg’s.
  • Must have reliable transport to and from Airport

Job Summary 

Due to recent expansion of our operations at Coffs Harbour Airport, we are recruiting for Casual and permanent part-time customer service officers. 

 

This position will see you as part of a small team, performing all tasks associated with the check-in, boarding, dispatch, and record keeping of flights operated by our client airlines. You will initially receive training in basic functions of your role, and over time be progressively introduced to more complex functions and procedures. Tasks you may be involved in during a shift include (but are not limited to):

• Pre-flight editing and document generation; 

• Escorting passengers from the tarmac to the terminal; 

• Checking in passengers; 

• Assisting passengers with special requirements to and from the aircraft; 

• Liaising with flight and cabin crew; 

• Resolving mishandled baggage issues; 

• Boarding passengers at the gate; 

• Maintaining accurate flight records.

What we will need from you:

• Punctual, reliable and with excellent time management; 

• Computer literate; 

• Current State Drivers Licence;

• Willing and able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Penalty rates for afterhours apply.
